Biography

Lynne Fontaine is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Brown University, specializing in neurobehavioral performance in infants at risk due to prenatal substance exposure and prematurity. She coordinates the NICU Network Neurobehavioral Scale (NNNS) Training Program, where she utilizes NNNS for clinical, research, and teaching purposes, particularly in consultation with newborn nurseries. Fontaine has taught courses in Developmental Psychology and General Psychology at the Community College of Rhode Island and has engaged medical residents at the Brown Center for Children and Women in behavioral rotations related to infant neurobehavioral exams.
