Biography

M. Zahid Hasan is the Eugene Higgins Professor of Physics at Princeton University. He completed his Ph.D. in Applied Physics at Stanford University and SLAC National Laboratory in 2002. He also holds an M.S. in Physics from Stanford University and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Texas at Austin. His research focuses on developing advanced spectroscopic and transport techniques, as well as atomic-resolution microscopic techniques combined with analytic first-principles theoretical calculations.
