Biography

Mabel Machado joined the Department of Culture, Media and Creative Industries at King’s College London in 2022 as a lecturer, specializing in Cultural Entrepreneurship. In addition, she holds a Master's degree in Media Communications from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Havana. With eight years of previous experience at the School of Communications at the University of Havana, Mabel has spent a decade as a reporter and editor in Cuban media.
