Dr. Maciej Mazurowski

Biography

Maciej Mazurowski is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at Duke University and holds a joint appointment in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is also a member of the Duke Cancer Institute. His research lies primarily in the areas of medical imaging and artificial intelligence, especially in the applications of deep learning techniques in medical image analysis. His work aims to enhance the efficacy of diagnostic processes through innovative computational strategies. Dr. Mazurowski has published extensively in top-tier journals, as evidenced by numerous publications addressing topics such as MRI image interpretation, cancer detection, and algorithm development for automated diagnostic systems.
