Biography

Dr. Madeleine Holland is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. Her teaching and research focus on the intersection of identity and relational communication. She is particularly interested in how individual perceptions contribute to experiences of emotions such as uncertainty, jealousy, stigmatization, and feelings of commitment, investment, and satisfaction in close relationships.
