Biography

Madeline Naegle is a Professor Emerita at the NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing. She is nationally and internationally recognized for her contributions to program development, publications, and policy implementation in addiction and psychiatric nursing, particularly focusing on older adults. Her research interests include alcohol and substance use among older adults, attitudes towards substance use disorders, and the safety impacts of commonly used substances in this population. She has published extensively in her field and continues to influence nursing education and practices.
