Biography

Madison N. Irwin, PharmD, BCPS is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy. She practices as a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist in the Adult Palliative Care Program at the University of Michigan Health. Her clinical practice research interests focus on improving care for vulnerable populations, including older adults in palliative care, and advancing clinical pharmacy practice within interdisciplinary teams. Dr. Irwin completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Dayton in 2015 and earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy in 2019. Additionally, she completed PGY-1 and PGY-2 residencies in Pharmacy Practice and Pain Management/Palliative Care, respectively, at the University of Michigan Health. Following her residency, Dr. Irwin completed a Clinical Translational Sciences postdoctoral fellowship under the supervision of Dr. Michael Smith at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy.
