Biography

Mads Vaarby Sørensen is a Ph.D. Special Consultant at Aarhus University, specializing in biology and physiology with a focus on the digestive tract and urinary system. His research encompasses several topics, including kidney function, acid/base homeostasis, and potassium homeostasis. Throughout his academic career, he has produced numerous research outputs, contributing to a robust portfolio of articles from 2007 to 2026. His work is often collaborative, extending into various research areas connected to these significant physiological processes. Sørensen has also made contributions to the academic community through lectures and presentations, particularly emphasizing his expertise in distal colonic K+ secretion.
