Biography

Maggie Millner is a poet, teacher, and editor based in rural upstate New York. She is currently a Senior Lecturer at Yale University and serves as a Senior Editor of the Yale Review. Millner's work has gained recognition with her book 'Couplets,' which was selected as an Editors’ Choice by the Atlantic and was a finalist for the LA Book Award. She has received the Lambda Literary Award for her contributions to lesbian poetry. Her poetry has been published in prestigious outlets including the New Yorker, the Nation, and the Paris Review. Millner was previously awarded the Stadler Fellow in Poetry at Bucknell University and the Olive B. O’Connor Fellow in Poetry at Colgate University. Her recent work continues to explore themes of love and identity through innovative poetic forms.
