Xiaoyue Maggie Niu is an Associate Professor of Statistics and the Director of the Statistical Consulting Center at Penn State University. Her research focuses on the development of statistical models to solve real-world problems, particularly in the health and social sciences domains. Her methodological approaches include Bayesian methods, social network models, and latent variable models.
