Biography

Margaret joined Warwick Law School in September 2019, bringing a wealth of experience from the public sector, where she worked as a management consultant for local and central government. She has held senior management roles with housing charity Shelter and in local government with the London Boroughs of Southwark and Westminster. Margaret's academic qualifications include an MSc in Public Policy from Birkbeck College, completed in 2013, and a PhD in Law from SOAS, awarded in 2019. Her research interests focus on South Asian Indigenous Law and South Asian Constitutionalism. She also specializes in Housing Law and directs undergraduate studies within the School of Law. Margaret is open to inquiries from prospective PhD supervisees, provided that research proposals align with her areas of expertise.
