Biography

Magnus Wiktorsson is a Professor in Production Logistics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where he leads the Department of Production Engineering. He earned his MSc in 1995 and completed his PhD in 2000 at KTH. Wiktorsson has worked as a consultant for industrial customers for five years and has led various research programs focused on product and production development at VINNOVA from 2005 to 2010. In 2008, he began part-time work at Mälardalen University and became a full-time faculty member in 2010, where he was involved in leading industry/university collaborations. In November 2017, he moved to KTH and later took on leadership roles in the departments of HPU and IIP. He has been actively involved in national manufacturing initiatives and has contributed significantly to the establishment of various industry collaboration structures. Wiktorsson teaches and examines several courses related to production engineering and sustainability and has been influential in launching education programs and research projects in response to industry needs.
