Dr. Maha Abdalla Mohamed is a board-certified, fellowship-trained nephrologist specializing in the Kidney Pancreas Transplant Program at Stanford Healthcare. As a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology, she is devoted to enhancing kidney and pancreas transplant outcomes and health equity. Dr. Mohamed's clinical expertise encompasses managing allograft rejection, BK virus and CMV infection, and post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorders. Her research focuses on innovative strategies to improve long-term kidney transplant outcomes and mitigate risks related to rejection and infections. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at various national and international conferences. Dr. Mohamed holds prestigious positions, including being a faculty fellow at the Stanford Center for Innovation in Global Health and participates actively in the American Society of Transplantation.
