Biography

Professor Maha Abdelrahman is a prominent academic in the field of sociology, currently associated with the Centre of Development Studies at the University of Cambridge. Prior to her position at Cambridge, she served as an Associate Professor of Sociology at the American University in Cairo. Since joining the Centre in 2007, she has made significant contributions to research and teaching in development studies. She also supervises MPhil and PhD students in the Centre of Development Studies and the Department of Politics and International Relations (POLIS).
