Mahdi Hasani joined the Cornell Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering faculty in July 2024. He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Polymer Engineering and Bioengineering, gaining expertise in the design of next-generation polymer electrolyte fuel cells, dental biomaterials, and cancer vaccines. His current research interests focus on designing biologically inspired immunomodulatory biomaterials, including advanced drug delivery systems for cancer therapy, infectious diseases, and tissue regeneration. His group also explores innovative engineering platforms aimed at rejuvenating the immune system.
