Biography

Mahdi Nasereddin is an Associate Professor of Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State Berks. He joined the faculty in 2001 and began teaching online courses for the Penn State World Campus in 2014. Dr. Nasereddin received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida. His current research interests include applications of artificial intelligence in telecommunications and cybersecurity education. He is also a certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds a Security+ certification. In addition, he focuses on teaching network administration and security, preparing students for challenges in the evolving landscape of technology.
