Biography

Mahmoud Abido is an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University. He currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Industrial Training Assessment Center (ITAC). His research focuses on energy storage, renewable energy, electricity grid modeling, and solar thermal systems, with a keen interest in strategies for decarbonization. Through his academic career, Dr. Abido has engaged in various research projects aimed at improving energy efficiency and sustainability, contributing to advancements in engineering applications.
