Majda Hadziahmetovic, M.D., received her M.D. from the University of Belgrade School of Medicine in 2006. She completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, Scheie Eye Institute, from 2007 to 2012. She is also invested in the basic science of retinal diseases, especially regarding new mouse models to better understand disease processes related to age-related macular degeneration and potential therapeutic reversals of morphological changes.
