Dr. Majid Ahmadi

Biography

Majid Ahmadi is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Windsor. He has a rich background in Electrical Engineering, receiving his Bachelor of Science from Sharif University of Technology in 1971 and his PhD from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in 1977. His research primarily focuses on Digital Signal Processing, Machine Vision, Pattern Recognition, Neural Network Architectures, VLSI Implementation, Computer Arithmetic, and Memristive Based Circuits. Throughout his career, he has made significant contributions to various fields within electrical engineering, especially in developing novel techniques and applications for energy-efficient designs. Prof. Ahmadi is an esteemed member of professional engineering organizations, including the Institution of Engineering and Technology and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
