Dr. Majid Khan

Biography

Majid Khan is an Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins University, specializing in Interventional Radiology. He completed his MBBS at the Government Medical College, Srinagar, India, in 1994, followed by various residencies in Internal Medicine and Radiology. He further pursued a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Khan plays a critical role in the Non-Vascular Spine Intervention program, focusing on advanced imaging techniques for head, neck, and spine tumors. His research involves spine tumor ablation using microwave devices and he has significant experience with cement augmentation procedures for compression fractures. He has also contributed numerous articles to leading medical journals and has presented his work at both national and international conferences. Involved in various professional societies, Dr. Khan remains active in scholarly activities and provides high-quality patient care in his specialty. His clinical interests are complemented by educational endeavors, training future radiologists and contributing to ongoing advancements in the field of neuroradiology.
