Biography

I am a physician scientist specializing in sleep medicine and the aging brain function. My research focuses on utilizing combined polysomnography and novel neuroimaging technology to identify potential sleep biomarkers and investigate the mechanisms by which normal aging and Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) progress to dementia. I also explore the impact of sleep on cognitive and affective function as well as behavioral abnormalities associated with neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders.
