Biography

I received my PhD from Iowa State University, co-majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mathematics. My dissertation focused on the development and analysis of numerical schemes for high fidelity simulations of multiphase flows, specifically creating energy stable numerical methods to simulate two-phase flows governed by the Cahn-Hilliard and Navier-Stokes equations. I have extensive experience in developing tools to analyze and understand complex physical processes, particularly in the areas of multi-phase flows and turbulence. Prior to my graduate work at Iowa State, I had a brief stint as a research associate in Dr. Krishnaswamy Nandakumar's group at Louisiana State University (LSU), working on theoretical models of energy cascades in multi-phase flows.
