Biography

Mallar Chakravarty received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at McGill University. Following his doctoral studies, he pursued postdoctoral fellowships in Aarhus, Denmark, and at the Rotman Research Institute and the Mouse Imaging Centre at SickKids Hospital in Toronto, Canada. His research has also included work at the Allen Institute for Brain Science in Seattle, WA, USA. Dr. Chakravarty's academic work focuses on human neuroscience, with a particular emphasis on youth mental health and early intervention.
