Biography

Manaswi Sangraula is an Assistant Professor at the Heilbrunn Department of Population and Family Health at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health. His work focuses on using community-engaged methods to design, adapt, implement, and evaluate mental health interventions globally. He has expertise in designing and delivering training and supervision for brief mental health interventions among non-specialist providers, community psychosocial workers, and staff at community-based organizations in underserved areas. He previously served as a Program Evaluation Specialist at New York Presbyterian Hospital’s Community Population Health Division, where he developed evaluations for various initiatives addressing community health in New York City, including public space activation, reproductive health, and early childhood development programs.
