Biography

Mandy Cheng joined the School of Accounting at the University of New South Wales in 1998 after working as an accountant at BHP. Her research interests include strategic performance management systems, balanced scorecard, capital investment decisions, incentive compensation scheme designs, and the use of accounting information in negotiations, as well as Integrated Reporting. She is a Fellow of CPA Australia and the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia. Mandy has held editorial positions such as Editor of the Journal of Management Accounting Research and on the editorial boards of several journals. She has been an active member of professional organizations, including serving as a member at-large on the American Accounting Association Council and as a director of the Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand. Mandy regularly presents at national and international accounting conferences and has published in leading accounting journals. She teaches a range of undergraduate and postgraduate management accounting courses.
