Biography

Manish Bhagania is a Clinical Associate Professor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He graduated from the College of Dental Surgery in Mangalore, India, and earned his MDS in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal University, India. He has been a full-time faculty member at Manipal University for nine years and received the Excellence Teaching Award in 2015. Dr. Bhagania also completed the AO Craniomaxillofacial Fellowship at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Germany, where he trained with leading surgeons. His research interests include predoctoral education, clinical didactic training for OMS residents, dentoalveolar surgery, the treatment of medically compromised patients, management of orofacial dental pain, and incorporating research into the development of oral maxillofacial surgery practice. Dr. Bhagania is actively involved in training OMS residents and managing the OMS Preliminary Internship Program at his institution.
