Biography

Manish Oza is an Assistant Professor at Western Law, a school of Western University, where he specializes in legal philosophy, property, and contract law. His research interests focus on the authority of non-state groups such as clubs, churches, unions, and political parties, particularly their intersection with state authority. He is also engaged in investigating the nature of legal reasoning. In collaboration with colleague Andy Yu, he co-organizes an interdisciplinary project centered around law and language.
