Biography

Manish Shetty is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2017, where he also obtained an M.S. in Chemical Engineering Practice in 2014. He completed his B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2011. His work looks into catalytic valorization of abundant chemical precursors such as CO2 and CH4, reaction kinetics, and mechanistic investigations through spectroscopic techniques. He is also interested in the use of external stimuli for catalysis and has been active in advancing distributed chemical manufacturing and computational catalysis, contributing to the field through innovative studies and collaborations.
