Biography

Manpreet Kaur is a lecturer in the Department of Sustainable Energy Engineering at Simon Fraser University. She holds a Ph.D. in Mechatronic Systems Engineering from Simon Fraser University, completed in 2019, and a Master of Technology in Nanotechnology from Amity University in 2014. Her academic interests center around the mechanical behavior of cellular solids and advanced 3D printing technologies. She is involved in research focusing on energy systems, additive manufacturing, and engineering materials. Kaur teaches a variety of courses including Engineering Materials, Measurement, Analysis and Forecasting, Computational Methods for Engineers, Signals and Systems, Energy Storage, and Additive Manufacturing Sustainable Design. In her recent publications, she has explored themes such as 3D structural sensing robots, chemical sensing signals in humanoid robots, and artificial saliva sensors using printed hybrid field-effect transistors. Kaur is committed to advancing the fields of sustainable energy and engineering through both research and education.
