Currently, I am a member of the FNS project (led by Prof. Franz Mali) which is preparing the critical edition, French translation, and commentary of the anonymous work Opus imperfectum Matthaeum. My research focuses on ancient monastic literature (Eucher of Lyon, John Cassian, monastic rules), canonical sources, and patristic exegesis, as well as the themes of coexistence and religious identities in late antiquity. After completing my doctoral thesis in classical philology in 2007 (University of Vilnius), I worked as a graduate assistant (2007-2012), then as a doctoral assistant and lecturer (2012-2018) at the Chair of Patristics and the History of the Ancient Church (Faculty of Theology) at the University of Fribourg. From 2019-2022, I was a member of the FNS-Excellence project on religious competition in late antiquity, directed by Asst. Prof. Francesco Massa. I balance my time between research and family life.
