Manuel Orazi studied at the Iuav University of Venice and holds a PhD in History of Architecture and the City. He has taught at the Universities of Camerino, Bologna, and Ferrara. Since 2003, he has been working at the publishing house Quodlibet in Macerata, where he oversees several series dedicated to architecture, landscape, and urban planning. Orazi collaborates with the daily newspaper “Il Foglio,” as well as the journals “Domus,” “Log,” “Volume,” and others. He has given lectures and seminars at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, the Architectural Association in London, the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris, the University of Belgrade, La Biennale di Venezia, and various Italian universities. His research focuses particularly on the work of Yona Friedman, and he co-published the book "Dilution Architecture" with him. He has also edited the Italian edition of Robert Venturi, Denise Scott Brown, and Steven Izenour's "Learning from Las Vegas" and the French edition of Rem Koolhaas's "Études sur (ce qui s’appelait autrefois) la ville." In 2021, he curated the exhibition "Carlo Aymonino. Loyalty to Betrayal" at La Triennale di Milano.
