Biography

Manuella Vincter is a Professor in the Department of Physics at Carleton University, specializing in Experimental Particle Physics. She has been a significant member of the ATLAS experiment, currently serving as the Deputy Spokesperson for the ATLAS Collaboration. Her research focuses on the identification and reconstruction of electrons, particularly in decays associated with the fundamental weak force, W and Z bosons. Vincter has held leadership roles including Associate Chair of Graduate Affairs in the Department of Physics and Director of the Ottawa-Carleton Institute of Physics from 2017 to 2019.
