Biography

Manzur graduated with a Double Economics degree from Trinity College, Cambridge, where he was elected for Junior and Senior Research Scholarships. He completed his doctoral studies in economic theory at University College London under the supervision of Martin Cripps FBA, specializing in game theory, bounded rationality, and industrial organization. Since 2009, Manzur has taught economics at UCL, and has also taught at the University of Cambridge and the London School of Economics. In addition to his academic career, he trained as a pilot in the Royal Air Force and worked in commodities trading at Barclays Capital, as well as in commercial real estate at Slaughter. He has experience in political consulting, having worked with Jeremy Corbyn MP in the House of Commons, and has acted as an expert consultant for organizations including the UN, Bahrain, and the British Dental Association. Manzur is also the author of 'Macroeconomics For Dummies', a part of the world-famous 'For Dummies' series of books. He grew up in London and is fluent in Bangla and working proficiency in Arabic.
