I am a doctoral student in Consumer Behavior and Family Economics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. With dual master's degrees in Mental Health and Global Health Economics from Johns Hopkins University, my research integrates behavioral economics and public health to examine the intersection of reproductive healthcare access, poverty, and child maltreatment prevention. Based on courses such as Health Judgment & Decision-Making, Economics of Race and Gender, Childhood Victimization, and Behavioral Neuroscience, I investigate how cognitive biases, structural inequities, and policy interventions influence family stability and child outcomes. Previously, I coordinated cardiovascular clinical research and served as a research assistant at Metropolitan State University of Denver, contributing to all phases of studies on cognition, animal welfare, and academic performance. As a first-generation college student and first-generation U.S. American, I am committed to advancing policies that expand reproductive healthcare and economic supports for families to break cycles of intergenerational poverty and promote health equity. In my spare time, I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, and photography.
