Biography

Marc-André Legault obtained his PhD in bioinformatics from the Université de Montréal and the Montreal Heart Institute, where he developed and applied new computational methods for validating pharmacological targets. He subsequently completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at McGill University and Mila, the Quebec artificial intelligence institute, where he worked on developing algorithms for instrumental variable estimation and the applications of machine learning in genetic epidemiology. He is now an assistant professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Université de Montréal and a researcher at the Azrieli Research Center at the CHU Sainte-Justine.
