Biography

Marc Berg is a Clinical Professor in Pediatrics with a focus on Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. He was born and raised in rural Minnesota and has been involved in academic medicine since 1997. His research interests primarily center around CPR performance, pediatric defibrillation science, and education, with a strong emphasis on simulation. He has volunteered with the American Heart Association for over a decade, leading the Pediatric CPR course (PALS) since 2010. Berg has held significant administrative roles including Division Chief of Pediatric Critical Care at the University of Arizona and has served as a Board Director for the University of Arizona Health Network as well as a Governor-appointed member of the Arizona Medical Board. In his free time, he enjoys biking, reading, and spending quality time with his family in Menlo Park, California.
