Biography

Marc Dinkin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College and a member of Weill Cornell Eye Associates. Specializing in Neuro-ophthalmology, he graduated from Harvard University and completed his neurology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Dinkin then completed a clinical fellowship in Neuro-ophthalmology at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston, MA. Before returning to New York, he spent several years as a neuro-ophthalmologist at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he played a key role in developing a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at the hospital and served as Associate Director of the Neurology Clerkship. His clinical focus includes treating vision problems originating from the nervous system such as optic neuritis, ischemic optic neuropathy, brain tumors, and idiopathic intracranial hypertension. He has published numerous papers and book chapters on topics in neuromyelitis optica and diagnostic imaging and has presented at various regional and national conferences. Dr. Dinkin is actively involved in teaching and has received several awards for his contributions to medical education and clinical care.
