Biography

Marc E. Gaden is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability and serves as the Executive Secretary of the Great Lakes Fishery Commission, a binational organization focused on fishery management in Canada and the United States. His research interests cover human dimensions of natural resource management, cross-border conflict, governance, collaborative management, and environmental history. His educational background includes a PhD in Natural Resources and Environment from the University of Michigan, an MA in International Relations from American University, and a BA in History and Political Science from the University of Michigan.
