Perreault has served in various professional roles, including as the director of the MSc in Advanced Pharmacotherapy program from 2007 to 2016. His contributions to pharmacy have been recognized through several awards, including the Roger Leblanc Award from APES in April 2015, and he was named a Fellow of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists in February 2017. He has also been a significant figure in promoting pharmacy education and research in critical care.
