Biography

Marc Schneeberger Pané received a B.S. in Pharmacy and an M.S. in Biomedicine from Barcelona University, Catalonia. He earned his Ph.D. in Biomedicine at the same institution. Following his doctorate, he became a KAVLI postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Prof. Jeffrey M. Friedman at Rockefeller University. His research focuses on understanding the role of neuronal and immunological pathways in energy balance regulation, leveraging advanced techniques in neuroscience and molecular profiling. He joined the Department of Cellular and Molecular Physiology at Yale University as an Assistant Professor in July 2022. The overarching goal of his laboratory is to advance the understanding of the co-regulation of neuronal, immune, and vascular networks that control homeostasis, particularly in the context of energy homeostasis.
