Biography

Marc Schuilenburg is a Professor of Digital Surveillance at the Erasmus School of Law, where he focuses on integrating AI algorithms into public safety practices. He joined the faculty in 2021 after working as an assistant professor at VU University Amsterdam from 2012 to 2023 and has also spent six years with the Dutch Prosecution Service. He has also held visiting positions at institutions such as John Jay College in New York and the University Campus Suffolk.
