Biography

Mr. Tassé is an award-winning lecturer at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law and at the Telfer Executive MBA program. Over the past 30 years, he has taught approximately 8,500 university law and business students and trained around 40,000 legal and business professionals both in Canada and internationally. He has researched and developed numerous accredited professional development programs for legal and business professionals and has authored new courses for Law MBA students. Mr. Tassé examines economic and financial crimes from both domestic and transnational perspectives, exploring the motivations behind unlawful behavior and the methods used by wrongdoers to cover their tracks. He emphasizes the importance of Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning in fraud and corruption prevention and detection. Recognized as a thought leader in the field of anti-corruption, he was selected as a knowledge partner for the 2020 OECD Global Anti-Corruption & Integrity Forum, where he presented a research paper on corporate punishment on a multilateral scale. He has also participated in various academic discussions organized by significant entities like the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, focusing on global anti-corruption efforts.
