Biography

Marcela Ferrada is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Nursing at the Université de Montréal, specializing in Nursing and Health Sciences. She obtained her Ph.D. in Nursing Sciences in 2019 with a focus on the Administration of Nursing Services. She also holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the École nationale d'administration publique. She has participated in multiple international collaborations, including projects with the Universidad de Costa Rica and the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia, focusing on teaching and developing competencies in nursing students. In addition to her academic responsibilities, she serves as a representative on various nursing committees aimed at improving healthcare quality and as a coordinator for a network of Canadian and Latin American nurse researchers.
