Biography

Marcelo Coelho is an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he teaches graduate and undergraduate design studios and directs the Design Intelligence Lab. Additionally, his Light Craft project utilizes deep learning to facilitate film lighting processes, enhancing the accessibility of creative tools. Coelho's research not only pushes the boundaries of design and technology but also addresses critical environmental challenges in product development.
