Dr. Marco Ranaldi

Biography

Marco Ranaldi is a Lecturer in Economics at University College London, specifically within the School of Slavonic and East European Studies. He is the Director of the UCL Centre for New Economic Transitions and serves as an associated researcher at the Stone Center for Socio-Economic Inequality at the City University of New York. Previously, he was a visiting fellow at the Paris Institute for Advanced Studies and worked at the International Inequality Institute at the London School of Economics. He has also been a postdoctoral scholar at the Stone Center, a consultant for the Development Research Group of the World Bank in Washington, D.C., and a visiting scholar at the University of Oxford. Ranaldi holds a PhD from the Paris School of Economics and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. His research interests lie in the areas of poverty alleviation, economic growth, and inequality reduction.
