Marcus Böick is a historian specializing in Modern German History with a keen interest in the intersection of political, economic, cultural, and social history. He was awarded the John F. Kennedy Memorial Fellowship at Harvard University for the 2022/23 academic year. His publications include works on the Treuhandanstalt and studies on memory culture in Germany, as well as edited volumes on post-socialist transformations.
