Biography

Marcus C. Ravnan earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of the Pacific in 1994, followed by a clinical pharmacy practice residency at the Veterans Affairs San Diego Healthcare System in 1995. He served as a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist at the California Cancer Center and Community Regional Medical Center, and later became the Clinical Coordinator and Inpatient Pharmacy Supervisor at the Veterans Affairs Central California Healthcare System. Joining the faculty at the University of the Pacific in 2000, Dr. Ravnan has held roles including Professor and Assistant Dean for the Office of Pre-Pharmacy and Pre-Health Affairs. His clinical practice includes hematology and oncology infusion services at Kaiser Permanente Northern California. Dr. Ravnan is a Fellow of the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. He actively participates in advisory roles and heads the Pharmacy Residency Club at the university.
