Dr. Margaret Gopaul

Biography

Margaret Gopaul is an Assistant Professor at the Yale School of Medicine in the Department of Neurology. She has a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Walden University, obtained in 2017. Dr. Gopaul completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Psychopharmacology at the California School of Professional Psychology/Alliant International. She has been involved in various research activities and has a keen interest in neurophysiology and neurodiagnostics. Her clinical training includes surgical intraoperative neuromonitoring at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Gopaul is actively engaged in academia, serving on several committees, including the American Epilepsy Society's Psychosocial Comorbidities Committee. Her work has resulted in numerous publications in the field, with a focus on epilepsy and related neurological conditions. She is dedicated to advancing her field through research and collaboration with other professionals.
