Margaret Lam graduated from the School of Optometry and Vision Sciences at the University of New South Wales in 2001. She started The Eye Care Company in 2005 and practices in Sydney CBD, focusing on various aspects of patient eye care, particularly contact lenses. Margaret has extensive experience in specialty contact lens fitting, especially for keratoconus and orthokeratology. She is a past recipient of the Neville Fulthorpe Award for Clinical Excellence. In 2017, her practice joined George Matilda Eyecare, a network of independent optometry practices where she currently serves as Head of Professional Services. She also serves as National President of the Cornea and Contact Lens Society of Australia and is a Councilor for Optometry Australia in the NSW/ACT division.
