Biography

Margaret M Mannix is an Associate Professor in Pediatrics and Psychiatry at Brown University, focusing on pediatric psychology. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Health Psychology from Yeshiva University in 2009. She participates in training psychology interns, residents, and fellows in psychology, psychiatry, and pediatrics. Her primary research interest centers on the quality of life in chronic illness, particularly focusing on pediatric cancer. She studies child and parent coping mechanisms and adjustments to chronic illnesses to improve the quality of life for affected families.
